In late September 2023, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) announced that Eric had been elected as the organization’s incoming Secretary for term of office beginning in January 2024. Says Eric, "I would like to thank the OCBA members for their endorsements and votes." Eric continues, "I am very grateful and look forward to serving the Bar to the best of my ability."
